Purpose of the Internship Program

The SGVS Internship Program is designed to:

• Expose students to real-life work environments
• Develop 21st-century skills like communication, problem-solving, and adaptability
• Help students explore potential career paths
• Encourage personal responsibility and work ethics
• Build confidence through meaningful contributions beyond the classroom

Opportunities & Areas

We collaborate with internal school departments to offer internships in areas such as:

• Media & Communications – content creation, photography, school newsletter
• Science & Innovation – lab research support, STEM workshops
• Library & Research – cataloging, peer tutoring, knowledge resource development
• IT & Digital – website support, tech help desk
• Community Outreach – volunteering with NGOs, organizing social campaigns
• Entrepreneurship – assisting with school exhibitions, mini student-led ventures

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to:

• Students who have cleared 12th standard and are pursuing under graduation.
• Those who demonstrate a keen interest, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• Applicants selected through an orientation, interview, or teacher recommendation

When and How It Happens

• Throughout the year or as part of scheduled enrichment weeks
• Duration: Typically 2–4 months, with flexible part-time hours
• Students receive guidance from mentors and are required to complete a reflection report or presentation at the end.

Recognition and Certification

Every intern receives:

• An Official Internship Certificate from SGVS and partner organizations.
• Opportunities to showcase their work in school exhibitions or assemblies.
• Recommendations or awards for exceptional contributions.
